Course Overview

Our EAP program prepares students for university study by developing advanced academic language skills. The course covers critical thinking, academic writing, lecture comprehension, research skills, and presentation abilities.

Students will learn to analyze complex texts, write academic essays with proper citations, listen and take notes from lectures, and deliver presentations with confidence. This comprehensive program ensures students are fully prepared for the demands of Australian university education.

Course Structure

Entry Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years at the time of commencement
• Demonstrated English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 4.5-5.5 depending on the course level
• Completed secondary education (Year 11 or equivalent)
• Valid visa permitting study in Australia
• College placement assessment and a genuine academic progression pathway

Packaged ELICOS Pathways

• Packaged ELICOS with VET or higher education commonly requires IELTS 5.0 overall before the main course.
• Equivalent evidence may include PTE Academic, Cambridge English, TOEFL, or an internal college placement test.
